MEET TESSA

Hi! My name is Tessa. I was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. Growing up, creating was something that has always been second nature to me. I stumbled into my first dance class as soon as I could walk and never looked back. For 18 years now, I’ve been performing, competing, teaching, choreographing, you name it! But dance was never my only creative love.
I’ve always been drawn to creating videos and taking pictures. I used to have a Canon that I would carry around when I was in high school, taking pictures of my family, friends and scenery. But it wasn’t until recently that I started to realize I might have what it takes to become the entrepreneur I always wanted to be after all. Previous to my media business, I was a community college drop out, and then a server for 6 years, not really knowing what direction I wanted to take with my life. But when I found Full Out Studios in 2018, my life completely changed.
I met a new family and found a new home. One of the owners of Full Out, and my mentor, Rocko Luciano, eventually started to teach me about videography, as I started helping him out with the studio’s video work in 2021. Eventually, I ended up buying his old camera gear off him so that I could start taking gigs of my own. Being a dancer, I knew a lot of people in the community already, so I was able to book a ton of dance class gigs right off the bat. I am very grateful to the Bay Area community for seeing my worth and supporting me over the past couple years. Eventually, with Rocko & my clients’ support, and a whole lot of hard work… thevision.ofher was officially born in January of 2022.
My long term goal is to travel the world creating documentary style short films, interviewing people about their lives in order to tell their stories to anyone who will listen. I want to show the world that you never truly know who someone is or what they've been through just by looking at them. I believe everyone's story is precious, and that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and understood. Storytelling is the number one thing that lights me up the most about any art form, and the one thing I think I have the strongest vision for. But in the meantime, I'm just here to create, explore and feel my way through this messy, beautiful world.
